Competitions can move a gymnast’s development forward in many ways, tidying up skills, meeting personal targets, reaching those gymnastics milestones, achieving rewarding results.

Katie achieved a momentous gymnastics milestone in her career at this event. Performing her first somersault vault in competition.  Less than twenty gymnasts over a 40year history of Wetherby gymnastics club have reached this milestone. It is a huge achievement and deserves a special round of applause.

Thank you for Mrs Nobbs for her preparation of the gymnasts and to Sharon for judging on beam for two full days straight.

Thank you to the parents who supported Yorkshire, myself, and Mrs Nobbs by helping with equipment at the end of the event.

What a long but wonderful weekend.
