CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

Sadly last week, like other gymnastics clubs in the country, in order to keep our members safe and well we had to close our doors temporarily.

Fortunately, in these exceptional times we have exceptional members, who recognise the need to strictly follow the government guidelines for the benefit of all.

We may not be able to meet physically at the moment however we continue as a club. We will be posting training support in our online members section over the coming days and look forward to when we can back to business as usual.

To all of our members, the wider gymnastics community and the UK population in general, we say

Stay Well, Stay Safe, Stay Home.

CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION

The Committee at Wetherby Gymnastics Club are aware of the ever-changing situation relating to the Coronavirus but at present, the competitive gymnastics training program continues to run. The beginners class on a Tuesday has been suspended.

We are working to Government guidelines whilst increasing precautions for the safety of our gymnasts, coaches, volunteers and families.

All gymnasts and parents MUST wash their hands before entering the gym.

We would like to ask the elderly, pregnant, or at-risk people not to come to the gym at all.

If anyone has a fever and a new persistent cough they should be self-isolating and we would ask that if any member of the family is self-isolating then please do not come to the gym.

We work closely with Leeds City Council and British Gymnastics and we will continue to monitor the situation. We will make our members aware of any changes to training as they happen, via email and the website.
