Having missed grades last year, Wetherby has made quite a comeback. Three Quarters of all Wetherby performances placing in the top ten in the region. All gymnasts ranging from preparation 1 right through to development 3 achieving working above or working beyond status.

Development 1

Lucy placed 6th on the bars and 4th on the floor. You Showed such determination and quick reactions to stay on the beam to place 12th overall. Achieving working above the standard at development 1.

Sophie placed 5th on the bars, showed such strength of character to rebuild after beam to perform a new floor routine and place 3rd on this piece. Achieving a 9th place ribbon overall and working above the standard at development 1.

Leyla placed 5th on beam and 2nd on floor. It was wonderful to see Leyla’s hard fought self belief shine through at this competition.  She achieved the bronze medal overall and working above the standard at development 1.

Development 2

Maisie placed 3rd on vault, 5th on bars and 4th on conditioning. She showed such maturity and resilience to rebuild after beam to place 2nd on floor. Achieving a 10th place ribbon overall and working above the standard at development 2.

Development 3

Lucy placed 6th on bars and 5th on conditioning. Overcoming her spin nemesis on beam to place 3rd on this piece. Achieving a 5th place ribbon overall and working above the standard at development 3.

Coaches, fellow gymnasts, parents, supporters in the audience, you all played a part in this significant club achievement.
